Hello!
My name is Lena. I live in Barcelona and photograph family stories.
I observe and capture life as it is.
Documentary photography is my way of preserving what quickly slips away: children’s laughter, hugs in the kitchen, spontaneous moments of intimacy. I don’t stage scenes, I work with what happens naturally.
My love for photography began at school and deepened through studying the history of photography at university and working in a museum — curating collections, exhibitions, and writing articles. After the birth of my two children, I first photographed our family, and now I share my skills with those who, like me, find it important to preserve the fleeting moments of their lives.
My experience working in a museum has given me a deep understanding of how to store photographs and family archives — from digital to printed family heirlooms.
